Sampling

Since 1994 Doedijns has been manufacturing sampling products and systems.
These systems are used when transferring hydrocarbon liquids and gas through pipelines. Our systems are used extensively on upstream FPSO's and offshore platforms but also in downstream oil terminals and refineries. We specialise in crude oil sampling. Our systems are located throughout the world.
In 2002 Doedijns acquired the sampling products and activities of FMA/Maurer, a UK manufacturer of high quality sampling equipment. The products were originally designed to meet the harsh environment of the North Sea in the 1980's. Now after may years this sampling equipment has proven its reliability and durability. We have now fully integrated the manufacturing of these products at our location in Assen in the north of the Netherlands.

Our modern engineering tools (3D) and quality management systems ensure we can meet the client's high+ standards for complete engineered systems. This also includes documentation, quality assurance and HES requirements, global service, maintenance and training by qualified personnel.

Each of our sampling systems is manufactured to the client's specific requirements and process parameters plus of course meeting the internationally recognised standards for automatic sampling such as ISO 3171, API Ch. 8 sect. 2, API 6.2. and GOST.
This includes the transfer of products through pipelines such as crude oil, condensate, LPG, natural gas, etc.

Our systems are frequently used in combination with fiscal metering systems to accurately establish product volume, composition, density and water content.
An important feature of our mixing system is the ability to establish accurate density measurement which is essential for meter correction; for instance when using ultrasonic meters for allocation purposes.
