Multi-point temperature sensors (from our own product-line Thermo Electric) with
a length of 28 meters and a fast response time to temperature changes.
The special length of these multi-point temperature sensors is necessary to
measure the temperature in the high reactor vessels of the refinery over the entire length of the process.

Thermo Electric multi-point temperature sensors
Instruments that can measure temperature at different levels or points. Sometimes
a multi-layer seal is required or customers want to be able to change elements under pressure at any time. In other situations, the geometry of the reactor vessel demands multiple elements in a lead-through that outputs to different points. The temperature sensors are usually fitted in a junction box (with or without converters) and are generally unique. For example, an element several centimetres long can sometimes have 10 measuring points or a 46-metre long instrument can sometimes have as many as 36 measuring points (think of the use in specific processes, such as Fischer-Tropsch, power generation or profile monitoring in a storage tank).
